Pre-owned - Good Condition - Mixed Metals (Sterling Silver, Palladium and others - Please Read Description.   This item is tarnished, which is acquired with time/age of the item. This is a Vintage 1950's Jacoby Bender Sterling Silver Triple Links Heart Charm Bracelet. Weighs approximately 69 grams Slide Lock Box Clasp with a Safety Chain that is Not removable.   Security chain is attached to the bracelet with rings, but a spring ring clasp could be added to completely open the bracelet. Since the security chain does not detach on one end with out using pliers currently, you squeeze to open the box clasp and place your hand through the enlarged opening and push the two ends of the box clasp together until it locks again.  Approximately 7 inches around when closed and Locked in place to wear.  The closure on the bracelet has the signature "JB Sterling" on one side and "Pat 3308517" on the other side and includes a non-detaching safety chain. 17 Charms Total - 15 Heart Charms and 2 Bird Charms, a few enamels could be cold enamels or are from a different age.  I will describe each charm starting with the charm next to the clasp and working my way around to the other side of the clasp. fyi: 2 charms (#6 & #12) tested with second highest content is palladium, current price is $1325./oz compared to sterling silver is $69/oz 1. Three dimensional detailed bird charm with spread wings has the marking SJC inside a sunburst. I learned that the maker of this charm is in New Mexico.  Does not react to a magnet. Tested 925 Sterling Silver 2. Small heart enameled dark pink rose with a light pink background has a plain backside and reacts to a magnet. Tested nickel/copper 3. Large heart with a large pink rose in the center with two small roses one on each side is unmarked on the decorative scrollwork pattern around the perimeter on the backside. The front enamel has EP under the large rose in the center.  This brooch has a very slight reaction to a magnet. Tested copper/zinc/tin/nickel 4. Cherub against an enameled background.  The back is dimpled and has a signature "Sterling, Log Cabin Hearts".  Does not react to a magnet.  Tested 925 sterling silver 5. Heart with a pale blue enamel background with what look to be wedding bells tied with a bow.  The design is the same on the backside, but is all silver tone with no enameling, no marking and reacts to a magnet.  Tested copper/nickel 6.  Large porcelain china heart shaped charm with two pink roses on the front and white on the backside.  Silver color metal all around, no marking and does not react to a magnet.  Tested tin/palladium 7.  A pair of hearts with flowers above and below the hearts.  The backside is exactly the same.  There is no marking and it reacts to a magnet.  Tested nickel/copper 8.  Tiny plain puffy heart, no marking and reacts to a magnet. Tested nickel/copper 9.  Large heart with a blue bird and roses on the front.  The back is silver with scroll work - very decorative - no marking, slight reaction to a magnet.  Tested copper/zinc 10. Heart Shaped "frame" inside which is an enameled rose.  The charm is the same on the backside with pansies inside the "frame" on the backside.  There are no markings, reacts to a magnet.  Tested copper/tin 11.  Enameled heart padlock, plain silver tone on the backside.  No marking, reacts slightly to a magnet.  Tested copper/nickel 12.  Large porcelain china heart shaped charm with scalloped silver rim around the outside.  White china on the backside and there is no marking, does not react to a magnet.  Tested iron/palladium 13.  Small enameled figural blue bird with brown color chest.  There is no marking and no reaction to a magnet.  Tested sterling silver 925/tin 14.  Bunny rabbit inside a scrollwork front.  The back is plain silver marked Sterling and does not react to a magnet. Tested Sterling silver 925 15.  Small enameled heart with three roses.  Plain on the backside with a beaded border and reacts to a magnet. Tested copper/nickel 16.  Large enameled heart with a garland of roses with some scroll work and beading and EP on the front enameling.  Unmarked on the decorative scrollwork pattern around the perimeter on the backside.  This brooch has a very slight reaction to a magnet.  Tested copper/zinc 17.  Silver heart reads "Forget Me Not" on the front, along with an engraved forget-me-not flowers and leaves.  The backside is plain and marked "sterling" and does not react to a magnet.  Tested 925 sterling silver 6/9/26 Testing was done by a local jeweler using a XRF machine  This item has been in long term storage 20+ years and is in pre-owned - good condition. Actual color may be slightly different and will vary from each computer monitor or electronic device I will not accept this item returned under any circumstances if any portion of this item is cleaned.  The current tarnish/patina is a desired quality that adds depth, character and value to jewelry.
