It is marked JAPAN on the bottom. This jar is 6 inches tall with the lid on, and 3 inches in diameter at the widest part. CONDITION: See photos. There is one tiny pinprick on the rim of the lid. Otherwise, it is in excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Most of the vintage items in my shop are pre-loved; therefore, I do not know what type of environment they came from.
