This elegant piece features delicate hand-painted pink and white florals with soft green foliage on a pale celadon-blue ground, framed by an ornate cobalt blue and rust-colored border with intricate gilt decoration. The scalloped rim and molded form showcase the fine craftsmanship typical of early Japanese export porcelain. A red Japanese character mark is present on the underside.
