Up for auction is a 40" x 56" crib size handmade quilt. The top is machine pieced in a checkerboard design. The boarder is an eye catching, vibrant solid pink binding, pulling the color scheme of the entire quilt together. 100% long-staple Egyptian Mako cotton Aurifil Thread was used for piecing, and it has been professionally quilted by a long-arm quilter with an overall hearts and loops pattern,  Hobbs Heirloom 80/20 unbleached batting.  T he binding, which matched the interior pink has been machine-stitched down, for years of durability. The backing is coordinating 100% cotton pastel pink with darker pink butterflies..  This quilt uses 100% cotton fabric, Pastel Colors:  soft pink, pale yellow, mint green, and light blue This comes from a smoke free and pet free home.
