The pixies are wonderful mid-century Holt-Howard designs with elongated pointed ears, hand-painted faces, white pearlescent clothing and whimsical poses designed to hug or climb a taper candle. Charming vintage Holt-Howard ceramic candle display set featuring two pixie/elf candle climbers, two angel candle climbers and two coordinating candle holders. The pixies are wonderful mid-century Holt-Howard designs with elongated pointed ears, hand-painted faces, white pearlescent clothing and whimsical poses designed to hug or climb a taper candle. One is clearly marked  © 1958 HOLT HOWARD . The two coordinating candle holders feature scalloped white ceramic bases decorated with applied dimensional/spaghetti flowers and gold accents. One retains its original  HH JAPAN  foil label. Also included are two white-and-gold angel candle climbers/huggers. Their delicate poses and gold detailing coordinate beautifully with the candle holders and pixies. The pieces display wonderfully together and are a great example of whimsical 1950s Holt-Howard holiday and candle décor. Includes 6 ceramic pieces total: 2 Holt-Howard pixie/elf candle climbers 2 angel candle climbers/huggers 2 taper candle holders Candles shown in photos are for display only and are not included. Condition Good vintage condition overall with age-related wear.  Both angel figures have damage/breakage to a wing , as shown in the photos. There is overall crazing to the glaze, wear/loss to some of the gold accents, minor paint wear and other surface wear consistent with age. The delicate spaghetti flower decorations on the candle holders show age/wear but appear quite well preserved overall. Please review all photos closely for condition and measurements.
