This is a lovely vintage cocktail ring crafted from .925 sterling silver, featuring a total weight of 5.2 grams. This statement piece showcases an elongated shield design decorated with intricate Victorian-revival open scrollwork patterns, measuring 17.9mm (0.71") long by 12.8mm (0.50") wide across the front face. Nestled perfectly at the center is a stunning, faceted marquise-cut purple Amethyst gemstone. The openwork setting is beautifully accented by micro-pave set metallic gray Marcasite stones, tapering down to a comfortable rear band width of 2.5mm. The interior inner side bands of the ring are clearly stamped with the hallmarks "A 925 Thailand," which attributes the piece to a premium late 20th-century (1980's - 1990's) Thailand jewelry workshop renowned for master-crafted silver exports. This ring is a size 7, solid, and structurally sound, with all Marcasite stones firmly intact and in place.
