The remarkable group portrait includes several Catholic priests/clergy , numerous women and girls dressed predominantly in white, and a number of children. Several members of the group appear in uniform-like white clothing, while others wear elaborate white dresses. A large processional cross or crucifix and other Catholic religious objects are prominently displayed near the center of the group. The exact institution and location have not been identified.
