Beautiful vintage Japanese bijin-ga style woodblock print depicting an elegantly dressed Japanese woman in an elaborate blue floral kimono with traditional hair ornaments and umbrella. The print features vivid blue, red, pink, green and gold-toned details and is printed on textured paper. Japanese characters and red artist/seal marks appear in the upper right. The inscription appears to include “Yoshino-yama” (Mount Yoshino) . This appears to be a 20th-century Japanese woodblock or woodblock-style print , possibly based on an earlier traditional ukiyo-e/bijin-ga design. Exact artist, age and printing history have not been independently authenticated, so it is being offered as artist/signature unidentified rather than attributed to a specific Japanese printmaker. The print is 23  inches high and 12 inches wide. Professionally presented with a wide cream-colored mat, black inner border and substantial black wood frame. The back retains a Jo-Ann conservation framing/glazing label .
