The main body displays beautifully executed figural panels rendered with controlled, high-relief brushwork. Lavish gold stippling and heavy gilt wrap around the shoulder and rim, offering a stunning contrast to the polychrome enamels. The earthenware body features a beautifully preserved, fine micro-crackle glaze characteristic of authentic Satsuma ware. The hand-painted figural panels and vibrant polychrome enamels remain exceptionally crisp. There is minor, age-appropriate surface wear to the heavy gold gilt accents, primarily visible along the upper rim and base. The included fabric-covered padded presentation box is fully intact and but shows notable age-related splitting and separation along its side seams, as clearly highlighted in listing photos 11 and 12., showing light superficial shelf wear, fabric aging, and dust consistent with its age and long-term storage.
