This hand-turned vintage wooden bowl showcases rich, natural Eastern Red Cedar grain with vivid reddish-brown striations, warm golden sapwood, and a smooth glossy topcoat. Crafted by artisan D. D. Haughton in Memphis, Tennessee, the piece is stamped on the underside with his name and address alongside a handwritten 1992 date mark. The wood is extremely thin and the bowl is very lightweight. The bowl features a rounded, bulbous form measuring approximately 4.5 inches tall with a 6-inch overall diameter and a 4.25-inch top opening. It is in good vintage condition with stunning wood patterning throughout. Please note a minor, faint hairline stress crack near the top rim and a tiny nick on the bottom base edge, both shown in the close-up photos.
