Base on the paint and “roundiness” of the images, my best guess is that these are from the 1960’s, 60+ years old. One is 3 1/8” tall, the other is 3” tall. Each holds an object - Christmas tree or candle. Up for auction is a pair of angel candle huggers imported by NOEL Decorations from Japan for the dime store market. Base on the paint and “roundiness” of the images, my best guess is that these are from the 1960’s, 60+ years old. One is 3 1/8” tall, the other is 3” tall. Each holds an object - Christmas tree or candle. There is a festive Holly and berry trim on their pony tail. Their eyes look toward each other and there is red cold paint forming their bow lips and dress hems. Like all dime store items imported in that era, there may be crazing, extra pottery bits, red cold paint misses, and form imperfections. There are many photos to help in looking at the condition. The time has come to sell my Christmas collection, many decades in the making and consisting of vintage mid-century items. Shipping will consist of careful packing and double boxing when appropriate.
