Featuring delicate CHRYSANTHEMUM FLOWERS “floating” on the gilded cup interior and on the saucer, it has a maroon background covered with an intricate, hand-painted, gold gilt floral, filigree design. Made in England - probably sometime between 1939-1949 - this cup and saucer are RARE, because the SAUCER IS ALSO PAINTED WITH GOLD FILIGREE.
