View Large 12.5” Vtg Japanese Porcelain Plate Blue & Orange Koi Fish w/ Lotus Flowers with current marketplace pricing, condition, product images and item details. This lovely large plate features five koi fish against a background of lotus flowers and foliage, the colors deep and vibrant. It is mostly blue with some white, but two fish pop with an orange color that contrasts beautiful with the blues that are dark and deep to light. This piece was made in Japan, circa 1960s to 1970s, and would be a beautiful addition to a cabinet or shelf display. There is no hanging mechanism so would need to be set on a plate easel or use as a platter for an elegant setting. Sure to elicit lots of compliments. Measures about 12-1/2" in diameter. In very good condition with no chips nor cracks. It still has its original sticker that reads “Sun Ceramics Made in Japan”. Beautiful decorative plate. Condition: New.
