The moccasins are made of tanned hide, sinew sewn, with rawhide soles. The uppers are decorated withbeads, all sinew sewn, in classic Cheyenne designs in bead colors white (old 'chalky' Venetian), andtranslucent tube beads in colors red, black, pink, dark brown, and green, and on the heel a few red-white-heart, navy, and greasy yellow. For sale is a beautiful pair of Classic Cheyenne Beaded Hide Moccasins, likely from 1910s-1920s. The moccasins are made of tanned hide, sinew sewn, with rawhide soles. The uppers are decorated with beads, all sinew sewn,  in classic Cheyenne designs in bead colors white (old 'chalky' Venetian), and  translucent tube beads in colors red, black, pink, dark brown, and green, and on the heel a few red-white-heart, navy, and greasy yellow. The sinew beading is very tight .   Overall very good condition. No apparent loss of beads. Slight tear in hide at heel of right moccasin. Please see pictures.  Although made after 1900, this is a stunning pair of classic Cheyenne moccasins!  The moccasins measure each circa 10 1/2" x 3 1/4".
