Beautiful original Giuseppe Armani Florence sculpture titled “Carnation” (Damina con Garofani), model 1247F , made in Italy and dated 1998. This elegant Art Deco-inspired lady is depicted wearing a long flowing coat or dress, tall buttoned boots and a close-fitting cloche-style hat accented with a delicate pink carnation. Additional hand-detailed pink carnations surround her feet and form the naturalistic floral support at the base. The predominantly beige-white “F” finish beautifully emphasizes Armani's detailed sculpting, particularly the woman's facial features, clothing folds, hands and finely modeled flowers. Subtle gold-tone accents appear on her belt, cuffs and decorated porcelain base. The sculpture is mounted on its original dark wood display base with the oval Florence – Giuseppe Armani plaque. Marked on the reverse © 1998 FLORENCE with Giuseppe Armani signature and Florence mark.
