Exceptional oversized vintage botanical brooch depicting a richly dimensional oak branch with sculpted leaves and acorns, accented by two enormous cream baroque pearl-style acorns and rows of small rhinestones. The substantial silver-tone metalwork is beautifully detailed, from the textured oak leaves and dimensional acorn caps to the elaborate rhinestone-set mounts surrounding the pearl elements. At approximately 4 inches long and weighing over 33 grams, this is a dramatic statement piece with wonderful sculptural presence. A number of the small rhinestones are missing. The large cream pearl elements show naturalistic surface irregularities, dimpling and age-related wear as pictured.
