The plate is 7 & 1/2 inches in diameter and weighs about 9 ounces. It is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or crazing. Looking at an angle to the light, I see no marks or wear to the enameled design. A plate this size, is considered a salad or dessert plate.
