For your consideration: A large, vintage, authentic piece of West African (Sahelian) fiber art; an oval, shallow coil basket-tray made of vegetable dyed raffia (or palm fronds.) Earthy geometric palette (rust and tan,) flexible pliability with a flat glossy sheen, figure-eight “over and under” coiling… this basket is a lovely piece of handcrafted African art to display in your home. Very good vintage condition; some wear noted (see last photos.)
