Beautiful  set of three vintage nesting brass bowls  with richly detailed embossed/tooled floral and scrolling decoration. The darkened recessed areas create a striking contrast against the warm aged brass finish. Each bowl features slightly different decorative detailing, including floral and foliate borders on the interiors. The undersides also show textured concentric designs. All three fit neatly inside one another for storage or display. Approximate diameters from the photos: Large:  3 1/4" Medium:  2 3/4" Small:  2 1/4" Wonderful as  small decorative bowls, trinket dishes, jewelry holders or shelf/curio décor . I would market these primarily as decorative pieces rather than food-service ware since the metal composition/food safety has not been tested. Material:  Appears to be brass; Metal is non-magnetic. A small inconspicuous area, on the MIDDLE bowl (see photos),was lightly tested and polished, revealing yellow-gold metal beneath the aged surface, consistent with brass.
