Vintage Alfred Philippe Trifari Radiance Rhinestone Thistle Flower Brooches 1950 Beautiful vintage Trifari thistle brooch from the early 1950s, part of Trifari’s Radiance collection. This design features sculptural thistle blossoms with pavé crystal centers and radiating baguette rhinestones, paired with finely detailed leaves in Trifanium metal. The brooch is signed Crown Trifari © on the reverse and displays the quality construction and brilliance that made Trifari one of the most respected American costume jewelry houses of the mid-century era. This thistle motif is a documented Trifari design, illustrated in Collecting Costume Jewelry 202 by Julia C. Carroll (p. 213), and it appears in original Trifari advertising, including mid-1950s magazine ads and newspaper ads showcasing the Radiance line. A classic example of 1950s Trifari design with strong visual impact and excellent vintage appeal.
