The use of the soft oranges and reds of fall are mixed with several shades of soft green and creams. It also appears to be initialed and dated 1850-see the picture. The front of the plate is beautifully hand-painted and signed by Alberti. The use of the soft oranges and reds of fall are mixed with several shades of soft green and creams. It really is just beautifully done and seems to be in excellent shape, considering its age. I looked over it with a magnifying glass, and some light scratches appeared, but I didn’t see many that could be seen with the naked eye. There could be some wear on the gilded gold edge of the plate, but again, in magnificent shape for its age. Please review the photos as they are an important part of the description.
