Verdigris is present on portions of the earrings, which remain wearable with functioning clip backs. A spectacular and highly collectible vintage Miriam Haskell statement necklace accompanied by coordinating clip-on earrings, dating to approximately the 1950s. This elaborate bib-style necklace showcases luminous faux baroque pearls, approximately 9mm, accented with sparkling clear crystals and rhinestones. Ornate Russian-gilt filigree elements form a dramatic winged and butterfly-inspired centerpiece, finished with an extraordinary cascade of articulated pearl and crystal drops. The warm Russian-gilt finish, intricate filigree construction and richly layered hand-assembled embellishment are all hallmarks of Miriam Haskell’s celebrated mid-century jewelry. The necklace is signed MIRIAM HASKELL at the clasp.
