Unfortunately, only a few scattered, straggly flowers appeared. After about 4 years, Robert commented on the variety of 'weeds' growing along the bushes. Amazingly, those 'weeds' were the wildflowers we had sown years before! Now, when Robert remembers to avoid mowing my 'weeds', I love clipping a handful of blooms for an impromptu bouquet.
