For your consideration is this amazing collection of Renoir jewelry. first is a Vintage RENOIR Mid Century Modernist Copper Bracelet which features a brilliant copper swirl loop link flexible bracelet. The Bracelet measures approx 7.5" with a fold-over clasp. The clasp opens and closes as it should. The bracelet is approx 1 1/4” wide, and is Signed "Renoir" on back of clasp. Also included is an unusual music staff and note brooch and matching screw back earrings for music lovers. The large RENOIR Music Note Brooch is approx 2 1/4” long x 2 1/4” wide. The clasp opens and closes securely The brooch is marked Renoir on the back. There are also included a pair of matching screw back earrings that measure approx 1” x 1” and screw backs work as they should. The earrings are not marked but are RENOIR. Unlike many costume pieces that used plated metals, RENOIR pieces were made of solid, high-quality copper. These pieces feature mid-century modern design. * From 1946 until 1952, unembellished copper fashioned into modernist jewelry was Renoir’s main focus. Some pieces such as these, had blackened highlights, which occur naturally when copper is soldered. These darkened areas were sometimes artificially enhanced to add depth and interest to the design. These Renoir pieces are preowned and in good vintage and preowned condition. They may have minor scratches scuffs or wear, due to their age.
