VTG Austrian Crystal Earrings Gold tone Clip-On W/ Enamel Flower and Leaf Accent These beautiful Earrings are signed AUSTRIA on the Paddle back clips. They were probably made during the 1950's or 60's. They are in very good condition considering the age. Austria is known for it's legendary crystal. They utilized some of the highest quality most brilliantly reflective lead glass rhinestones available. The designers used a combination of delicate pressed-metal filigree backing to set the stones. These earrings are perfect for autumn The prong set stones are green, amber, and orange accented with hand painted yellow enamel flowers and brown on gold leaves all set in a nice gold-tone metal. They are approx 1" long and with the curve in the design they reach 7/8" wide. The prongs and clips are all secure.
