View VINTAGE House shaped canister, hand painted ceramic cookie jar/tea holder. Japan with current marketplace pricing, condition, product images and item details. The lid has old glue from a crack and break being repaired. You can see the crack on back side of lid. The canister has a crack on backside and side. It also had tape to hold lid on and I have not cleaned or polished in any way. It said handpainted and I didn't want to damage. Anywho there is some tape remnants and needs cleaned. It looks good for decoration, not for use.. its got cracks and glue. Maybe just junk but its old and still cute, not alot available, I think the web said it dates to 1920s, for decoration purposes.
