The construction is particularly interesting. Beautiful vintage bronze sculpture depicting an elegantly dressed young woman seated on a swing surrounded by a naturalistic tree and branch frame. The sculpture is signed “MOREAU” in the cast base and is in the Art Nouveau style associated with French sculptor Auguste Moreau (1834–1917). Based on comparable documented examples, this piece is best described as a 20th-century bronze sculpture after Auguste Moreau, rather than attributed as a lifetime casting. The construction is particularly interesting. The woman and swing are separate from the surrounding tree structure, with twisted metal wires passing through the figure's hands and swing seat and wrapping around the upper tree branch.
