Vintage Handmade Mr. and Mrs. Clause Standing Figurines These were made in 1985 at Hunting Creek Crafts in the mountains of North Carolina and was designed by Don Ephraim. In very good condition for their age! See pics for details! Mr. Ephraim was born Feb. 17, 1928 in Baltimore, Md., to Dr. Meyer Ephraim and Irene Horwitz Ephraim. He studied painting and sculpture at Maryland Institute of Art. He was a sculptor and craftsman and the founder of Hunting Creek Crafts. His early works of ceramic sculpture were instantly popular and are in many private and public collections around the country. Mr. Ephraim was the co-founder and director of the Wilkes Cultural Center and served on the board of directors of the Wilkes Arts Council.
