Set of 2 Vintage Jemez Pueblo Pottery Signed - Mary H Loretto  Includes: 1Seed Pot & 1 Mini Pot Up for sale is a beautiful, authentic set of two (2) vintage Native American pottery vessels from the Jemez Pueblo tribe in New Mexico. Both pieces showcase traditional Southwest hand-coiled craftsmanship and classic geometric designs. Artisan: Mary H. Loretto Seed Pot (Larger Piece): measures approximately 4.5” wide and 3.5” tall Artist: Hand-signed on the bottom "Mary H. Loretto, Jemez" Style: Black-on-red ware featuring stone-polished clay and intricate geometric feather/terraced designs. Condition: great vintage condition. Beautiful gloss finish. No cracks or large chips detected. 2. Miniature Polychrome Vase (Smaller Piece): measures approximately 2.75” wide and 2.5” tall. Style: Matte tan slip background with polished red geometric fine-line patterns. Consistent with the well-known Loretto family style. Condition: Displays some honest vintage wear. There are a few tiny flea-bite chips and minor surface scratches around the upper rim (clearly highlighted in the close-up photos). Still a wonderful, highly collectible mini display piece! Shipping & Handling: Native American unglazed pottery is highly fragile.
