Each candlestick is cast with a romantic 19th-century genre scene: a standing young man and seated young woman among palm-like foliage and flowers. Candle cups sit above an openwork foliate drip pan / bobeche. Matching pair. Likely Continental (French or Italian style), late 19th century / Napoleon III period revival between 1860-1890.
