Large and substantial Chinese-style blue and white porcelain dragon charger featuring an elaborate multi-dragon design with floral and scrolling decoration. The charger measures approximately 12 inches in diameter and weighs approximately 4 lb 0.5 oz, giving it a noticeably heavy, substantial feel. The front is decorated with multiple detailed dragons surrounding a large central dragon motif. Additional dragon decoration continues around the underside exterior. The base bears a blue six-character Qianlong-style reign mark. The mark is being described for identification purposes only. I am not representing this piece as being from the original Qianlong period. Exact age and maker are unknown. The cobalt decoration shows natural variation in tone, along with small firing spots and glaze irregularities visible on close inspection.
