Secure curved wires with a strong hinged clasp. Top and drop echo reinforce the shape and effect of one another. Diamonds held up in elegant white gold wirework - like the center of a flower. Antique dormeuse earrings. 18k white gold and diamonds. Made in France, circa 1930. Independant appraisal and certificate.  Measurements: Weight is 3.8 grams. Larger single cut diamonds are approximately 0.24 ct each and small upper diamonds are approximately 0.06ct each. Length is 3/4 inch (1.8mm).  Description : Known as dormeuse or sleepers because they are so comfortable to wear that you never need take them out of your ears. Dormeuse are 'must have' basic jewelry that every woman should own. Extremely versatile earrings - can be worn with your jeans, to work or to a party.  Secure curved wires with a strong hinged clasp. Small diamond surmounts connected via a chain to the larger diamond drops. Top and drop echo reinforce the shape and effect of one another. This allows movement as the wearer moves.  The bottoms are also attached to the backs for additional security.   Gleam and glint of diamonds add to subtle sense of movement.
