Welcome. These treasures survived the fire intact and I have them here so I can promptly ship. Offered... a fantastic pair of earrings by famed Navajo artist, Mary Marie Yazzie, which are signed. They are fabulously designed as is the case for her prize winning works -- there is a simplicity and an intensity, both! We don't ever see carved coral in this astonishingly gorgeous design. They have off center posts so will hang below the ear lobe. They are perfectly serrated bezel set in sterling silver. Their dimensions are 3/4" x 5/8". Their weights are 3.20grams and 3.14grams respectively. They show no wear and were not shined. Their condition is excellent vintage and collectible. For over 35 years she has been known for her simple, yet elegant designs that are timeless. She often combines various colored stones such as coral and turquoise, in her popular “cluster work” pieces, though not in this case. Her brothers, Lee and Raymond Yazzie, who are both well-known award winning jewelers, too. Mary Marie lives with her family near Gallup, NM.
