The jade has achieved an aged silky glow that gleams and is very hard to photograph due to it's refractive luminosity. On offer is this exquisitely carved 1900's Chinese Hand Carved Dimensional Nephrite Jade Moth Carving. This carving depicts a Moth holding a Lotus Flower. It is pierced and carved on both sides. The Jade is a Creamy Yellow color with darker speckled veins within the jade that has achieved a glowing patina as conducive to it's age. It is a large carving measuring 3.1/4 Inches long x 2.1/4 Inches high x 1/4 inch thick. The jade has achieved an aged silky glow that gleams and is very hard to photograph due to it's refractive luminosity. The raised dimensional carving is superbly executed because the moth appears to be three dimensional when you look at it. Weight 59 grams.
