Carved with lovely flower motifs each bead has been carved in high relief so the carving is crisp. These beads are no longer available so once they are gone they are gone. Being hand carved, each bead varies slightly in design and shape. On offer is this beautifully carved Vintage Chinese 1950's Hand Carved Wood Necklace featuring huge 15 mm (5/8 Inch) diameter beads that are hand knotted with a navy blue thick cord. There is no clasp as it is a long 34 inches and slips easily over your head. Carved with lovely flower motifs each bead has been carved in high relief so the carving is crisp. These beads are no longer available so once they are gone they are gone. It's a rich chocolate brown color in very fine vintage condition with no damage or repairs because it is old stock that has never been worn. Being hand carved, each bead varies slightly in design and shape. A nice addition for your collection showcasing the skillful carving of Chinese artisans in a bygone era.
