View Vintage Shibata Toki Japanese Porcelain Platter/Bowl Set - Gold Cranes & Flowers with current marketplace pricing, condition, product images and item details. There is crazing throughout the platter (see last 2 photos), but none on the bowl. Their gloss and shine remain fully intact, as does all of the floral and gold decoration that adorns the platter and bowl. Made by Shibata Toki Porcelain Factory in Japan, which was started in 1948, this 12.5-inch platter and matching 8.5-inch bowl are covered with golden cranes, leaves and peacocks, as well as bold, vivid flowers in red, yellow, pink, green and blue. Both pieces are outlined in shiny gold and encircled in a dusty royal blue floral motif.  There are no chips or cracks on either piece. There is crazing throughout the platter (see last 2 photos), but none on the bowl. Their gloss and shine remain fully intact, as does all of the floral and gold decoration that adorns the platter and bowl. Even the underside of both pieces features purple and gold flowers.  This set is very colorful and very spectacular, especially if birds and flowers bring you great joy.
