Up for sale is a 1830’s Lancaster Pennsylvania childs trunk with the history of the owner who went on to fight in the Civil war battle of richmond in 1862. The writing reads what looks like ,"Nathan  Bears little child brought with him to his uncle's home, John Myers Esquire, when he was twelve years old, Nathan was born in 1836 in Lancaster, county was wounded Add lost site of in 1862 at the battle of Richmond."  Please see pictures.
