View Vintage Oil Painting New England Old Red Barn with current marketplace pricing, condition, product images and item details. this is a vintage oil painting depicting the quintessential New England "old red barn" placed right in the middle of the painting - the talented artist created the two-story barn with a mellow red color to indicate the old age of the barn - on the back part of the barn is an open section that is attached perpendicular to the main body of the barn which section was probably used to store the farm equipment that could be driven into that section to protect the equipment from the weather -  in front of the barn are three one-story utility buildings which have the same aged red paint on them that match the color of the barn - the artist used a palette of shades of gray to create the roofs of all of the buildings which create a pleasant flow of sight for the viewer of the painting - over the barn & its utility buildings is an incredibly well-done huge bank of off-white & light gray clouds which fill the bright blue summer sky - in front of the farm buildings is a small light-green patch of grass, next to which is neatly plowed & fertile appearing ground, all of which colors contrast dramatically to emphasize the "old red barn" -  the painting measures 18" x 24" sight size, & is in very good vintage condition - it is enhanced by its multiple layer original wooden frame which measures 21" x 27", & which is also in very good vintage condition -            Condition: Used.
