This ring is "new old stock" from a jeweler's showcase, in unworn condition. It is stamped LGL which is the trademark for Leer Gem Ltd of NYC, and it is nice quality. Peridot is August's birthstone, in case you need a gift for that special August lady! The ring features three oval cut peridots set in a "trellis" mounting, with the largest one in the center, at 8 x 6 mm (1.35 ct) with 6x 4 mm (.50 ct each) peridots on each side. Two diamond are set in channels on each shoulder, adding an additional .08 ctw to the ring. The peridots are a vibrant green, quite true to the photos, and the ring has a lovely presence on the hand. The face measures 5/16" top to bottom at the front center, it sits up 1/4" off the hand, and the peridots span 1/2" across the face. The ring is hallmarked 14K LGL with copyright. It weighs 3.8 grams, and is a size 6.75. It can be sized by any competent jeweler. It is in new condition.
