The whistle features Hello Kitty in the spoon sitting down, with a Birthday present, and party hat on. The whistle has a red string attached. The wording on the whistle reads "Copr.  ©  1976 SANRIO CO. LTD. MADE IN JAPAN". The wording on the packaging label is slightly covered by a price tag, but reads, "WHISTLE MASCOT SANRIO 2.00 US DISTRIBUTED BY SANRIO CO. LTD. Copr.  ©  1976 SANRIO CO. LTD.
