An antique 6 piece matching porcelain Vanity Dresser Set in a Violet floral pattern. All are marked but only the hat pin is a clear marking ofHand Painted Nippon on the bottom. The hair receiver and powder box are hard to read and the tray is just marked JAPAN. An antique 6 piece matching porcelain Vanity Dresser Set in a Violet floral pattern. The hair receiver and powder box are hard to read and the tray is just marked JAPAN.  Included is approx. 8 3/4" x 6 1/8" tray, Powder box with lid (approx. 4" x 4.5"), hair receiver box with lid(Approx. 4" x 4.5"), and hat pin holder (approx. 4 7/8" tall x 2" at bottom).  All are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing detected but While photographing, I noticed a small hole on the side of the hair receiver. It looks to have happened during manufacturing because there are no rough edges or cracks to show distress of any kind. My thinking is that it was some kind of air bubble that didn't get filled in in the firing of the glaze. See pics.  I've had this beautiful set in my possession for several years and absolutely adore it but am needing to downsize. I hope you love it as much as I have.
