Carved Shou designs on both sides of the large Coral Gems. The coral is highly polished. There are natural growth striations in the 6mm coral. Being hand carved the coral gems vary slightly in size and shape attesting to their authenticity. On offer is this Vintage 1970's Chinese Shou Carved Design Reddish Orange Coral Necklace featuring massive Coral Gems that  have a diameter of approximately 21 mm ( almost 7/8 inch) with coral spacer beads that measure approximately 6mm in diameter, then the Approx. 6mm diameter coral gems are at neck portion of the necklace to the clasp so it is very comfortable to wear. Carved Shou designs on both sides of the large Coral Gems. The coral is highly polished. It measures 30 inches in length and weighs 244.72 grams. There are natural growth striations in the 6mm coral. Being hand carved the coral gems vary slightly in size and shape attesting to their authenticity. There is a sterling silver Ring Clasp that is hallmarked 925.  The Coral gems are highly polished so they gleam with a superb high and very elegant luster.   In fine vintage condition with no damage or repairs. All photo's taken in daylight.  From my personal collection so the necklace has never been worn as it is old stock.  These wonderful Coral pieces are now collector pieces due to the world wide coral moratorium.
