It would be great as a single charm in a necklace and would also be safe that way. He wears a collar of clear sparkling pave rhinestones that goes all around his neck. A tiny gold-plated heart with a single rhinestone hangs down his front from the collar. This is pre-owned by me. I have been the only owner and I purchased it in a department store. It is one of the very early Scottie charms and remains one of the most sought after and cutest. It has not been worn and is in the same pristine condition as when I purchased it. This is because it has been displayed behind glass and I did not wear it for fear the enamel would get chipped from any large charm hitting it if they were on a bracelet together. It would be great as a single charm in a necklace and would also be safe that way. He wears a collar of clear sparkling pave rhinestones that goes all around his neck. A tiny gold-plated heart with a single rhinestone hangs down his front from the collar. He also has rhinestone clear eyes which are also totally sparkly. Now in case you did not know what is so special about this charm other than EXTREMELY good looks, it is the fact that you push his tail down and his mouth opens and you can see his pink tongue inside. Scottie collectors might recognize where this tail/mouth idea came from as we have lots of key chains that are almost identical to this classy charm, but they are plain old plastic. Now to educate you one step more... I am quite sure these used to be sold in vending machines in bowling alleys and the like and that these "Puffers" had like a strip of cap-like things like kids used to smash with a rock, but these somehow mimicked the Scottie smoking with a little puff of smoke coming out. i wish i could say I was too young to really remember these, but suffice it to say "I heard tell". I have the other rare one with the fire hydrant listed as well. This guy has his original box and will be shipped in that and he will also come to you with full insurance.
