Old art nouveau sterling slide pendant featuring an enameled maiden with plique a jour enamel and ruby accent. It measures approximately 1-1/8" long (not including the jump ring) by 3/4" wide and is marked 'Sterling' on the reverse of both pieces. Possibly contained a mirror originally and is now an empty compartment. There is no latching mechanism and the cover slides freely. Overall good condition with minor wear and original patina.
