There are few signs of use at all on this glossy piece. Its underside is marked Rosenthal Selb-Bavaria along with the scripted "Handmalerei" (hand-painted) and a pattern number that may be 5676, although it is hard to say definitively. At 8.75 inches in diameter, this almost-antique Rosenthal plate features lush handpainted fruits framed by a scalloped golden rim filled with raised flowers. It is in spectacular condition, with no chips, no cracks, no crazing and no rubbing of the gold. There are few signs of use at all on this glossy piece.  The only imperfections to mention are one pin point-sized spot of discoloration in the porcelain on the front of the plate (see 2nd to last photo), light signs of wear and a few tiny dings on its underside, and a tinge of brassiness in its beautiful golden rim (see last photo).
