Either way, it's really cool, with blue flowers and lots of gold-leaf detailing. The gold leaf is remarkably intact all the way around the rim and on the flowers. It doesn't look like it was ever used for anything. This gorgeous and very unique dish is in excellent preowned vintage condition. It measures 8" square and is about 1.25" deep, so maybe a very shallow bowl? Or salad plate? Either way, it's really cool, with blue flowers and lots of gold-leaf detailing. The gold leaf is remarkably intact all the way around the rim and on the flowers. It doesn't look like it was ever used for anything. Shipping charges keep going up, unfortunately.
