There are 4 protective metal feet at the bottom. There is an outside back pocket. There is a concealed carry zipped pocket in the back. The purse measures approximately 10 7/8" high,14" wide, and 4 3/4" deep across the bottom.  It opens to approximately 10 1/2" when fully extended.   It can be carried folded at the bottom or spread out if more room is needed.
