This pattern was produced in Japan for a short period from 1950 to 1953. Vintage Rare "COLBY" Pattern China 5 Piece Place Setting by Noritake #5032 One (1) 5 piece place setting Beautiful Victorian style mid-century fine porcelain/bone china 5 piece place setting.  Features a beautiful colorful floral design with metallic gold scrolls and a distinctive blue edge/band. This pattern was produced in Japan for a short period from 1950 to 1953.  Five pieces are as follows: One (1) Dinner Plate - 10 1/2"  One (1) Salad Plate - 7 1/2" One (1 ) Desert/bread & butter plate - 6 1/4" One (1) Cup - 3 5/8" in diameter at top opening by 2 1/4" tall One (1) Saucer - 5 1/2" All pieces are marked on the bottoms (see pics.).
