I think the current patina enhances the intricate texture of both the petals and the center. The pin clasp works perfectly.  This is a family piece and belonged to my Grandmother. She was happiest when she was in her garden.  This will be shipped in a reinforced bubble mailer and is from a smoke free, pug loving home.
