Vintage Japanese export porcelain chocolate pot featuring the highly collectible "Geisha Girl" in a traditional garden motif. This tall, elegant pot showcases vibrant orange-red (coral) glazed trim along the handles, scalloped base, and rim, decorated with detailed hand-painted touches. 7” tall without lid, 9” to top of finial.  Unlike many similar pieces on the market,  this listing includes its original matching lid  with a  loop finial handle and hand-painted green maple leaf details. Features & Details: Design:  Traditional scene featuring figures in colorful kimonos walking through an outdoor garden with oversized blue and orange chrysanthemums, pine trees, and bamboo. Form:  Classic tall, slender chocolate pot silhouette with a gorgeous flared, scalloped pedestal base and an ornate, stylized handle. Markings:  The base is plain/unmarked, which is standard for many mid-century Japanese retail imports and tourist wares from this era (often originally identified by foil or paper stickers that have washed off over time). Condition: This item is in beautiful vintage condition with no chips, cracks or missing pieces. Colors remain wonderfully bright and vibrant.
